Overview
jMei2Midi is a software library implemented by Tristano Tenaglia that converts MEI files to MIDI files. It also maintains a special communication channel so that information contained in an MEI file that cannot be represented in MIDI can still be accessed from the jMei2Midi API.
jMei2Midi is used by jSymbolic to read MEI files, but it can also certainly be used as an independent library. It is the most extensive MEI to MIDI converter known to the authors.
